World Series V Satellite II Results

All American Beer Pong's second WSOBP Satellite event of the year saw some great beer pong action. Teams once again made the trip from far and wide including SCBP notable Peter Rusch. However, the team that stole the show and the satellite seat, from defending champs Green Man was none other than Norcal heavyhitters Schaffs and Burns. The team "Bitch was trying to kick it but I don't play soccer" from San Jose took down the side tournament and a free entry into the 5k West Coast classic tournament on June 27th. A total of 20 teams made it out for the event and we look forward to more exciting WSOBP tournaments in the future.

3/14: Results from WSOBP V Satellite Tournament

The satellite tournament on Saturday was a great success. There were teams from all over California including some notables like Green Man and Fat Kid. Nothing but Net also made the drive from the Bay Area and Zombie Assassins came all the way from San Luis Obispo. Jeremy Hughes (Fat Kid) and Eric Cantreras formed the team 'All Day' and gave local favorites Green Man a tough game in the finals. Green Man emerged victorious after an exciting final game that went into overtime. All Day did take down both of the other All American Beer Pong tournaments that day netting them a total of $200 in tournament cash. A total of 32 teams came out for the WSOBP event and we anticipate many more successful WSOBP Satellite events during the 2009 season. Thanks to all the teams who came out and we hope to see you all at our next event!!!
